My Journey to Healthier Skin: The Transformative Power of Collagen
As I recently entered the third year of my third decade, I’ve found myself reflecting on how much my priorities have evolved over the past five years, particularly since embarking on my holistic health and hormone healing journey. One of the most significant changes I’ve noticed is how I approach skincare. In my twenties, I struggled with severe cystic acne, a battle rooted in hormonal imbalances, environmental toxins, poor gut health, and low self-esteem. Shopping at my local farmer’s market this summer has become one of my greatest joys. The vibrant stalls are filled with fresh, locally grown produce, and there’s a unique sense of connection to the land and community when I load up on seasonal goodies. The highlight of my visits? The rainbow-colored bundles of carrots I’ve been stocking up on lately. With their shades of orange, purple, and yellow, they’re a feast for the eyes, and each bunch comes crowned with a lush bouquet of green carrot tops.

Since my diagnosis I have been heavily gravitating toward natural fibers– linen literally promotes healing in the human body! But recent studies correlating lowered progesterone levels and sperm counts from polyester exposure have me convinced, synthetic fabrics have got to go!
