When I dreamed up the Spring to Life Method six years ago, I knew it had the potential to change women’s lives. And it certainly has—women have transitioned off hormonal birth control, learned to love their natural cycles, and built healthy, joyous relationships with exercise and their bodies through Pilates. If you’ve been a client of mine over the years, I’m so grateful for your trust, and I’ve celebrated every one of your wins along the way.
But if I’m being honest, none of those previous offers, containers, or programs ever felt quite right to me. The potential of the Spring to Life Method was not being fully realized.
During my cancer treatment and recovery, I was able to step back and reflect on what mattered most in my life—and the Spring to Life Method is still at the top of that list. I believe in the power of Pilates, and I know the world will be a better place when all women truly understand the power of their bodies. What didn’t sit quite right with me was the how: how I was marketing, communicating, delivering materials to you, and collaborating with and supporting other women’s health educators in my community.
Which is where The Period.ical comes in—my reimagining of the monthly newsletter as a swipe-able, click-able e-zine. The Period.ical is your connection to women’s health insights, featuring guest contributions, profile features, and curated resources from leaders in the space. This is both a creative venture for me outside of the social media bubble and a way to cultivate a supportive community of women serving women in pursuit of health and happiness. Please enjoy the very first issue!
